Our ethos
We believe that first aid and pre-hospital care are practical skills. Our
courses rely on hands-on and scenario-based learning to develop an understanding
of the principles and concepts practitioners need. Rules and protocols
have limits in dynamic environments – a Remote Emergency Care course will give you
the understanding you require to make good, appropriate, independent
decisions that you can adapt to your circumstances.
Our trainers
Our trainers are not only experienced medics, but also have extensive outdoor
experience. They have wide and varied interests, from diving to high
altitude mountaineering, polar exploration, desert travel and round-the-world
yachtsmen. Our great team never rests on its laurels however – each
trainer continually strives for improvement, and to that end we have
active Continuing Professional Development and Quality Assurance schemes
in place. You can be assured that your Remote Emergency Care trainer is at the top of his
or her profession.
