Adam is a qualified teacher, a Full member of the Royal College of Surgeons Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care and Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. Adam has held an Emergency Medical Technician award since 2003 and has been a First Aid trainer for Remote Emergency Care since 2001.
As an Outdoor Instructor, Adam has 10 years instructing experience in climbing, mountaineering and watersports and has worked with groups of all all ages and backgrounds although he specialises in working with disengaged young people and those with challenging behaviour. Adam has worked within formal educational settings including at Local Authority level. As well as his experience in the outdoors, Adam has managerial experience in the Care sector and operational experience in the petro-chemical industry
