Jon has nearly 10 years experience of training and developing people and organisations working in remote locations.
Originally qualified as a Biologist with a B.Sc (Hons) degree from University College London he spent 4 years working in finance in London before escaping and pursuing his passion in training and working in wilderness locations.
His experience is practical and hands-on having led various expeditions and delivered training worldwide including Ghana, Senegal, Malawi, Kenya, Morocco, Mauritania, Mali and Burkina Faso.
He is a Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician, a qualified Mountain Leader, Off-Site Safety Management tutor with the RGS-IBG and an Accredited Practitioner of the Institute for Outdoor Learning.
In his spare time he likes to juggle spending time with his family whilst pursuing personal challenges such as competing in Mountain Marathons and long distance cycling routes.
