Originally from Liverpool, Jay is now based in Edinburgh and provides training globally.

Jay has served in the British Army, the private armed-security industry, as a fire-fighter and as a fire service training instructor: work which has taken him to both remote and hostile conditions

He has operational experience as a IHCD FPOS (First Person on Scene )trauma technician, Swiftwater Rescue Technician and in SAS Casualty Management.

A former Corporal, Jay has been instructing professionals from the age of 19 and both his work and personal life have taken him through deserts and jungle, up mountains and to the depths of the worlds oceans.
