John comes from a long and distinguished background in science and the outdoors. A highly qualified medic and outdoor instructor, John combines these skills with his vast experience of different outdoor environments, from the tropics to the arctic. John holds the Mountain Instructor’s Certificate and works regularly as a climbing ranger and medic on Denali.
