Matt Ladbrook

Dr Matt Ladbrook is a General Practitioner with a special interest in expedition and wilderness medicine.  Matt's role in REC is as a medical advisor and veryfying trainer.

Matt provides telemedical support to 50 expeditions annually through the Expertise Consultancy Group Ltd.  He is the Medical Director of Sentinel Consulting Ltd and is the Chief Medical Officer of the Earthwatch Institute.

Matt is a qualified Wilderness Physician and Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine. He is a member of faculty of the Wilderness Emergency Medical Services Institute-International (a not-for-profit group of volunteer trainers).

Matt served as an officer in the Territorial Army for 16 years and earned his Commando beret.
